Legend Completes Thistle Hotels Roll Out - January 2006

Following a tight roll out schedule, the final Thistle Otium Heath Club has now been installed, and as at 6-January, the full 13-club chain is now converted to the Legend Club Management System.
The deployment has included the replacement of reception desk PC’s at each club with low cost Wyse thin client terminals, to create an easily managed ‘packaged solution’ for each site. This has resulted in a significantly reduced club support overhead and overall cost.
A key feature of the project has been moving clubs off of the variety of legacy systems onto the Legend central database, bringing with it key benefits. The biggest win for the group however, has been central database reporting. This allows reporting on any one club, group of clubs or the whole chain with the click of a mouse – something which previously was a manual exercise.
Another key objective was installing BACS Tel IP and setting it up on the central database. Direct Debits can now be run from a single location for every club in the group in one simple process.
