Oldham Community Leisure selects Legend ~ December 2008

Oldham Community Leisure has selected Legend following a long review of requirements and systems. OCL operates eight public leisure facilities, including Oldham Sports Centre, Oldham Community Leisure's flagship facility and the new Saddleworth Pool and Leisure Centre.
Mike Tait, OCL Operations Director, says, “Selecting and implementing a new system in the current economic climate requires careful consideration. After our evaluation, and particularly after speaking with other Legend clients, we were convinced that we couldn’t afford not to upgrade our systems. We expect to make substantial strides forward in IT as a result and therefore to serve our public better.”
Sean Maguire, Legend’s Managing Director, says, “We look forward to producing a quality implementation project for Oldham Community Leisure. We aim to complete rollout by the first week of April 2009 to coincide with the official opening of the new Saddleworth Pool and Leisure Centre. The implementation will include a free swimming registrations web site to better support the government’s free swimming program for 60 and overs and under 18’s.”
