Ongoing success results in expansion ~ 14th June 2004

As a result of a steady increase in demand for its services and the decision to recruit additional staff to support this, Legend has moved into new, high tech offices at the IT Centre, York Science Park.

By offering a better service and a complete package to support club operations, Legend has demonstrated to be a leading solution to both large and single site operators,’ reports Sean Maguire, the company’s Managing Director.

He continues, ‘By providing superior technology to existing management systems, we provide a solution with more flexibility and control than has been available before. This central database model speaks for itself and the accompanying tool-set and automations in our system make it very easy to train and deploy.’

‘The benefits have been appreciated by our clients and they have responded by utilising our services – as our growth figures confirm,’ says Ray Edgar, the company’s Technical Director. ‘We can provide a system level that suits each customer’s needs. The system is totally flexible – and dependable.’

With an increased – and varied – customer base, Legend is able to demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of adopting its system for their own facility. More importantly, recent installations for LA Fitness have proved that it is possible to migrate to the Legend system with minimal disruption to existing operations.

The move to new office facilities will enable additional resources to be utilised to develop even further the range of services on offer. In addition, there will be opportunities to pool the expertise of the numerous IT companies located at the Science Park.
