Legend Appoints Head of UK Sales ~ January 2005

Legend Club Management Systems has appointed Steve Webber as Head of Sales in the UK. Steve joined the Legend team in the last quarter of 2004 from Idesta Solutions Limited, a leading supplier of mobile IT solutions, where he was Sales Director.

Steve's appointment at Legend is his first within the health and fitness industry. He brings with him over eight years of experience in IT services and the ISP market. As Sales Director for Idesta Solutions, Steve was responsible for securing a £1m contract with BSkyB, where the provision of a handheld mobile IT solution for all the company engineers dispensed with paper records nationwide.

Prior to joining Legend, Steve worked on several projects alongside the company. He says: "When working with Legend, I found the team to be forward thinking and visionary in their mission to provide the leading club management IT solution to the health and fitness market. Legend has embraced leading technology in order to deliver its product in a convenient and cost effective manner. The appeal is to all customers weary of the difficulties in operating traditional computer systems. When the offer of a position at Legend was made it was a very easy decision."
